Manic Metallic


Manic Metallic was officially incorporated in 2021 by Founder and Creative Principal Liberty Imhoff.

We are a fashion media company that critiques fashion as an art, respects it as a discipline, and recognizes it as a societal force for change. Through our media, we bring the emphasis back to the fashion industry and its players – and away from the hype of the entertainment sector.

Manic Metallic offers written, audio, and video content that furthers its goal of disseminating knowledge of fashion as an art, discipline, and societal change agent.

We do not desire to be a Vogue Magazine, a Harper’s Bazaar, or anything of the sort. We seek to have conversations that actually move the needle and address society’s most pressing issues as they relate to fashion. We do not want to participate in a fashion culture in which the conversation becomes the solution – we seek to kickstart conversations that lead to solutions, and our eternal goal is for Manic Metallic to take part in those solutions as beneficially to all involved as we can.

While we love fashion, we readily acknowledge that this is a massively flawed industry. We aim to be a part of concrete solutions as they relate to sustainability, diversity, technology, and other pressing issues of our time. And we have been building a space in the fashion industry for others that believe in these same principles ever since our inception.
