This article covers the press preview for the New Museum’s reopening after two years and the completion of the museum’s Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA)-designed building expansion. The opening exhibition, “New Humans: Memories of the Future”, featured roughly 700 works of art and seeks to examine how artists have answered the question of what it means to be human while coming to terms with an array of vast technological changes over the past century.
